Emax is a lithium disilicate glass ceramic that has optimized translucency, durability and strength for full anatomical restorations. Emax lithium disilicate restorations exhibit superior durability featuring 360-400 MPa of flexural strength. When fabricated to full-contour, the monolithic structure is the most robust ceramic system tested to date. The opalescence, translucency and light diffusion properties of IPS emax lithium disilicate were all designed to replicate natural tooth structure for beauty and undetectable restorations. Studio32’s posterior restorations are pressed to full contour, then a stain and glaze is applied to get the final color and luster.
Emax restorations in the anterior region are monolithic substructures that are then layered with Emax Ceram porcelain to get more translucency and characteristics of color in each individual tooth. It provides lifelike, highly esthetic results with true-to-nature light scattering and a balanced relationship between brightness and chroma.
